Hi everyone! Let’s do a 2022 recap! This is similar to an 'ask me anything' - but more community focused. Also, I don't really want to answer 'anything' :) ... We have developed such a wonderful community of people who feel so welcome and connected, sometimes it is nice just to chat. Obviously I will […]
Happy Jan 1 - I’ll be up, so let’s enjoy sunrise together to bring in this New Year.
The Town of Banff sits entirely inside a Canada's oldest national park. To live here one needs to demonstrate a 'need to reside.' Oh - and we have snow for up to 8 months a year!
The holiday season in the Rockies carries on for months. Christmas & New Year is just part of the winter celebrations during our shorter winter days. These tours will share the beauty of winter here in Banff (and even Canmore & Jasper).
Winter is back! It is time to take you skiing down the slopes of one of the most famous resorts anywhere. Come for the views & stay for the speed :)
Come visit The Village of Lake Louise - Canada's highest permanent community. I will be returning from Yoho Park and it is nice to have a wander through this famous community. We will visit the river and see Mount Temple in the distance.
Come join me for an early morning walk in the Canadian Rockies. On these walks we will explore this magnificent mountain environment, look for perfect postcards, and even animals. Generally these walks are around Banff, but they could be anywhere spectacular in the region. So many people are joining me on these trips, that we […]
Join me for an evening walk in beautiful Banff National Park. Before the tour, I will drive around to find the best light - perhaps animals - or I may even travel by bike (if the weather permits!) We are having so much fun on these trips. Of course, we offer all the history, geology, […]
This is the closest we can get to touring Kootenay National Park (the BC side from Banff) - we’ll be in the village of Radium Hot Springs - and yes, we’ll have been in the famous pools!
This tour will include towering mountain peaks, trains (Kicking Horse Pass in the distance) & evolution (the Burgess Shale)! Yoho begins at the British Columbia border just west of Lake Louise - I won't walk as far as I do on a normal tour, but am thrilled to share this dramatic, remote area. The valley […]
Here’s the deal. We’ll start somewhere interesting.. whomever answers our questions the fastest chooses our route :) At each meaningful junction, I’ll ask a question then offer the winner ‘left,’ right,’ or ‘straight on!’ This sounds like fun :)
