Early Morning Conversations- Australia and Lorikeets
Today I woke up at 3.45 in the morning with jetlag, but it didn’t bother me, interestingly. I lay in bed listening to the early morning chatter of the rainbow lorikeets, a super colourful little parrot that eats the seeds on the palm trees in my Uncle’s front garden. They were having a very excited conversation and it was fun to listen to them.
When I arrived in Brisbane yesterday morning it was 21C° and by the middle of the day when I was swimming in my Uncle’s pool it was 31C° which is very hot for me! (Start the conversation: #hotdownunder).
After all that travel it was fun to relax in the pool and then eat my favourite Australian ice cream, Turkish Delight!
