Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Overnight Air France flight from Detroit to Paris and onto Milan, Italy
Day 2: Arrive in Milan and transfer to Lake Como area; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Albavilla Hotel & Co – Plinio Riviera Srl
Day 3: Boat ride to tour Lake Como localities such as Bellagio and Cadenabbia; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Albavilla Hotel & Co – Plinio Riviera Srl
Day 4: Coach ride back to Milan and a short guided tour of the city (Duomo, La Scala, Theater,Sforzesco Castle).
On to Verona for a city tour and see the balcony of Romeo and Juliet
On to Lido di Jesolo; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Victoria Frontemare Hotel
Day 5: Departure by coach to Punta Sabbioni and then ferry boat to St. Mark Place, the heart of Venice to have a guided visit including St. Mark’s Square and the Doge Palace. Experience a typical Gondola ride of 30 minutes
Back to Lido di Jesolo; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Victoria Frontemare Hotel
Day 6: Departure by coach to Ravenna for a free visit of the most beautiful monuments: Galla Placidia construction, San Vitale Cathedral and Dante’s Tomb. Transfer to Rimini; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Ascot Hotel.
Day 7: Departure by coach to San Marino to visit the Government Palace, St. Marino Cathedral and the Rocks of San Marino. Continue to Gradara to visit the Castle and the Commonwealth War Cemetery. Transfer back to Rimini; dinner on your own and overnight stay at Ascot Hotel.
Day 8: On to Florence Free time for lunch. Have an afternoon guided tour of the city including S. Maria Novella, S. Maria del Fiore and the Old Bridge. Dinner together at a local restaurant and overnight stay at Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio Hotel.
Day 9: Transfer to Rome. Free time for lunch and in the afternoon visits to ancient Rome by coach with English speaking guide (Colosseum + Roman Forum). Dinner on your own and overnight at Best Western Torvergata
Day 10: Departure by coach to Pompeii for a full day guided visit of the famous excavations. Transfer back to Rome; dinner on your own and overnight at the Best Western Torvergata
Day 11: Transfer by coach for a half day guided visit of the Vatican City and St. Angelo Castle.
Afternoon free at disposal for shopping or further sightseeing.
In the late afternoon transfer to the Tiber River for a Boat Ride with dinner and music on board.
Transfer back to Best Western Torvergata for overnight stay.
Day 12: Transfer to Rome Fiumcino Airport for direct flight back to Detroit.

If enough local travelers book, we will try to secure a bus to take us to and from the Detroit airport.
