Travelsphere & Just You – Alive and Well!
I’m voting Travelsphere 😉
For over 20 years I have worked with Travelsphere and its partner brand Just You. Over the last few days I have received erroneous reports suggesting these companies have ceased operations. This is incorrect.
The truth is Travelsphere and Just You were purchased by G Adventures – and with that company’s deep Canadian roots I must admit a gentle sense of national pride.
The All Leisure Group sold Travelsphere and Just You to G Adventures and put the other parts of its business into administration and at least one good friend of mine lost her job, but I repeat: Travelsphere and Just You are not only alive but will be further invigorated in partnership with an ethical, international travel company.
Over the next three months I will be leading three Just You tours and four Travelsphere trips. I am so excited by our new (sold out) Chilean tour I will lead in March – including Rapa Nui (Easter Island).
On January 11 I meet a Just You Winter Rockies trip just down the road from my home near Banff.
There may be a few spots available on a few of the Travelsphere Winter Rockies trips and as always I am planning trips with Travelsphere and Just You almost every month of the year.
In our age of social media rumours spread quickly. To that end I want to assure the many people who have already emailed me directly or contacted TwomeyTravel.com that not only are these two brands doing well, they are now in an empowered position to develop and run even better tours.
Change can be scary, but in this particular case, the future really does appear positive. Despite being tied to less profitable brands, Travelsphere and Just You both survived the post BREXIT decline of Sterling.
I consider many of the staff in Market Harbourough personal friends. With clearer financial forecasting in the UK and as part of the successful G Adventures, I look forward to working with my friends at Travelsphere to design and lead more outstanding tours for years to come.
